“It is a fact that in the right formation, the lifting power of many wings can achieve twice the distance of any bird flying alone.” – Milton Olson
Google Hangouts is a great web tool and mobile app for learners to collaborate. Google Hangouts is for students 13 and older and allows up to 10 videos at once. Students can share their screens, a Google presentation, collaborate on documents in real time, and much more. Some ideas for peer collaboration projects, include peer editing, designing a group presentation, brainstorming about a topic or project, hosting a debate, or creating a collaborative story. Below, I have included a document you can copy and edit to help students keep detailed notes and keep on task with roles when doing a Google Hangout meeting. On June 11th, please join me for a free live webinar to learn more about Collaboration Projects and Apps with Google Hangouts! Register for free at Bit.ly/hangouts4learning.
